Still Dead: Greatest T-shirt Salesman Ever

40 years ago today, this man went to Bolivia and all he got was a hole in his head. Today, we know him as the greatest T-shirt salesman who ever lived.

Who was he?

Che Guevara. But it took me quite a bit of research to get there. His story is really quite interesting, this was a fascinating way to spend my lunch hour. Thanks!

Way to go, Rita! You always struck me as a revolutionary.

Oh, Rita, you are showing your tender years if you had to do research to find Che! If you matriculated in the 60s -- and are now in your 60s :( -- you'd remember wall-to-wall t-shirts with that iconic face.

okay, any woman who ever saw that face on a T-shirt and failed to find out IMMEDIATELY who it was... I just dont' know what to say about that. I mean, I realize Che was more than just a pretty face and all, but let's face it -- do you think he'd be on all those T-shirts (and posters and tapestries and what have you) if he'd looked like Steve Buscemi?
