Still Dead: Greatest T-shirt Salesman Ever
40 years ago today, this man went to Bolivia and all he got was a hole in his head. Today, we know him as the greatest T-shirt salesman who ever lived.
Che Guevara. But it took me quite a bit of research to get there. His story is really quite interesting, this was a fascinating way to spend my lunch hour. Thanks!
Emil anonymously said, Oh, Rita, you are showing your tender years if you had to do research to find Che! If you matriculated in the 60s -- and are now in your 60s :( -- you'd remember wall-to-wall t-shirts with that iconic face.
okay, any woman who ever saw that face on a T-shirt and failed to find out IMMEDIATELY who it was... I just dont' know what to say about that. I mean, I realize Che was more than just a pretty face and all, but let's face it -- do you think he'd be on all those T-shirts (and posters and tapestries and what have you) if he'd looked like Steve Buscemi?

Way to go, Rita! You always struck me as a revolutionary.
