So who did Hillary vote for?

Here's the quote as U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton emerged from the voting booth today:

"I voted for change ... except for me."

Gee, if you were an honest politician exhorting change in Washington, wouldn't you vote against yourself?

Now, that's an oxymoron if ever there was one: "Honest Politician". As if. At the risk of sounding cynical, give me a break.

Does it really matter? Washington never changes, just the faces.

Both parties claim to have the magic beans when they're not in power ... and when they get the chance, they fumble the magic beans.

One might ask: When Hillary was the second most powerful person in America (with an amenable No. 1), why didn't she accomplish all the high-minded goals she had for America THEN?

But Hillary isn't alone. The Republicans haven't exactly kept their promises to reduce government spending, waste and taxes. And that's why they're on the way out.
